Executive team

The Bizo executive team is made up of serial entrepreneurs and leaders with business audience marketing and ad-industry experience.

Russell Glass, CEO / Co-Founder
Russ is a serial technology entrepreneur, having founded or held senior positions at four venture-backed technology companies. Most recently Russ led the marketing and product management teams at ZoomInfo, a business information search engine, where he sharpened his B2B marketing skill-set and developed his love for business data. Other than business data, Russ's passions include golf, anything in high def, and Duke basketball.

Mark Dye, SVP Business Development / Co-Founder
Mark is also a serial entrepreneur, and most recently ran business development at Vivisimo, an enterprise search company, where he developed and closed their largest relationships including AOL and Microsoft. Mark started his career at CheckFree, a payment processing technology company, where he helped to build it from a five person startup to a multi-national public company. Mark is an accomplished musician and enjoys spending time with his family at the lake.

Bryan Burdick, Chief Operating Officer / Co-Founder
Bryan heads up all partnership activities at Bizo. Bryan is formerly the president of ZoomInfo, and has held senior management roles at Monster, Lycos, Go2Net and Reality Online, a Reuters company. Bryan is a diet coke and hockey fanatic, and if he's not playing hockey, he's coaching hockey, watching hockey or talking about hockey.

Annie Wayne, Chief Financial Officer
Annie comes to Bizo by way of Price Waterhouse, McKesson Corporation and four venture-backed software companies, where she most recently served as CFO of Homerun.com. When Annie is not impressing the team with her wizard-like talent for numbers and spreadsheets, you can find her on the pool deck watching her three kids play competitive water polo.

Marc Yasuda, VP of Sales
Before heading up National Sales efforts at Bizo, Marc held various sales, marketing and leadership positions with Conde Nast, Nestle and startup media companies. When he's not selling, Marc spends time with his two daughters in Mill Valley, watches Giants games, and complains to his wife about not playing enough golf.

David Karel, VP of Marketing
David leads Bizo’s marketing efforts. No stranger to business audience marketing, David joins the company with more than 15 years of B2B marketing, business development, and sales experience. He most recently served as vice president of product marketing at SuccessFactors, and has held positions at Instill, Siebel Systems, Thomson Japan, and MBAVision which he founded. When not spending quality time with his family which is his #1 passion, David likes to play golf, tennis -- and has played alto sax in bands from NY to Philadelphia, Tokyo to Osaka, and back in the Bay area where he lives now.

Donnie Flood, Chief Technology Officer / Co-Founder
Donnie heads up the platform development efforts for Bizo. He hails most recently from AdMob, where he was one of the first technical hires, helping to build the solutions that have made it a leader in the mobile advertising industry. An avid indie rock listener and concert goer, some of Donnie's recent favorites include Band of Horses, Xx, Viva Voce, and Explosions in the Sky.

Lee Byrne, VP of Ad Operations / Co-Founder
Lee's been with Bizo since day one and most recently ran the account management group at ZoomInfo, a business information search engine. Prior to ZoomInfo, Lee held various advertising sales and account management roles at Lycos and Yahoo!. Lee played football in college, loves Salesforce.com and the Beatles, and wishes he was a better golfer.

Chris Mann, VP of Product Management
Leading product management at Bizo Chris has a passion for building new businesses. With over 20 years product management and sales experience Chris comes to Bizo from Coremetrics where he is credited with building the market leading real time product recommendation business for e-commerce. Previous to Coremetrics he held multiple product management roles with IBM's WebSphere business unit over a 10 year span. Chris is passionate about family and all things cycling. In his free time can be found on the roads and trails of Marin County.

Greg Glass, VP of Account Management
With the company since it's inception, Greg has been the point person on hundreds of campaigns, and has led the account management team with a heavy focus on results-oriented campaign tactics. Prior to Bizo he honed his B2B chops on the National Sales team at ZoomInfo, a business information search engine. In his free time you can find Greg playing in bands around San Francisco, hiking the Marin Headlands, or hanging out with his dog, Hugo.

Patrick O'Brien, VP of Business Development
Pat oversees all inventory, data and reseller partnerships for Bizo. Prior to Bizo, Pat served on the leadership teams of several internet startups including his own internet marketing firm. Pat began his career in high-tech publishing with Ziff-Davis and was on the launch team of ZDNet (later sold to CNET and, eventually CBS). Pat loves: a) being outdoors, b) learning new “stuff”, c) anything with an engine, and d) his beautiful wife, three kids and one very cool dog.

Bizo's board is made up of executives experienced in the art of creating successful companies. Between the six members of the board, they have founded or held senior management roles at dozens of successful venture-backed technology companies.

Russell Glass, Founder and Director

Yonatan Stern, Founder and Director
Yonatan co-founded Bizo and led the charge to spin it out of ZoomInfo to create his fourth company in the last 20 years. Yonatan is currently the founder, CEO and Chief Scientist of ZoomInfo and is also the founder of CardScan and Rosh Systems. Yonatan can often be found on the Tel Aviv – Newark – Boston shuttle, is an artificial intelligence buff and has one rule: be profitable.

Byron Deeter, Director
Byron is a partner at Bessemer after having previously been a successful entrepreneur, investor, and consultant. Most recently, Byron was an executive at IBM, as a result of its 2004 acquisition of Trigo Technologies, the product information management company that he co-founded. He was a varsity member of Cal's national championship rugby team and can often be found irrationally wearing blue and gold colors. Byron was recently named one of the ten "Thought Leaders of the SaaS Revolution."

Steve Ricci, Director
Steve is a senior partner at Flagship Ventures, and brings 30 years of experience in the venture capital industry. He has been directly involved in the financing of over 125 companies and currently serves on the boards of Affinnova, Brainshark, Carbon Design and ZoomInfo. Steve is often seen riding a bicycle, which he puts to good use each year to raise money in the Pan-Mass Challenge for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Mike Tyrrell, Director
Mike is a general partner at Venrock, which he joined after 16 years as an entrepreneur in management roles at venture backed technology companies including Spyglass, the commercial developer of the first internet browser, Mosaic. He currently sits on the boards of AppNexus, Gazelle.com, and ZoomInfo. Mike is a seven handicap, and likes all things Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots.

David Silverman, Partner
David is a partner at Crosslink Capital with more than 15 years of experience working with technology businesses as a venture capital investor and investment banker. Prior to joining Crosslink, David was a partner at 3i Ventures, a global venture capital fund. He also served as a senior officer in the technology practices at both Robertson Stephens and Piper Jaffray. David's previous investment experience includes BlueLithium (acquired by Yahoo!), Demand Media (DMD), Fotolog (acquired by Hi-Media), Omniture (OMTR; acquired by Adobe) and Speakeasy (acquired by Best Buy).
